Many people are probably familiar with “The Devil”, a popular Korean drama with Joo Ji Hoon
(Goong) and Uhm Tae Woong (Delightful Girl Choon Hyang) that aired last year. The depth of characters, their history and relationships with each other were remarkable, and Japanese fans will be able to watch it again, in their language.

Satoshi Ohno, leader of the Jpop group Arashi, has his first, main television role in the upcoming Japanese remake. He will play the role of a lawyer who will, by any means, revenge the murder of one of his relatives. Alongside him will be Ikuta Toma whose role as the detective will ask for a more serious Toma, who is better know for his comedic roles.

Airing of “Maou” (Devil) will begin July 4 and fellow Arashi member Ninomiya Kazunari is said to make an appearance in the first episode.

We are all curious to see Ohno in his first main role and whether it’ll be anything like his great stage presence.
